When one waits sixteen years to “pop” the question, well… there is going to be a really good party. I did finally make my father an honest man when I proposed to Maryann (“Mare”) on a beautiful day in Paris at the Louvre. (Yeah we did kill a magnum of 1975 Pomerol, but that was much earlier in the day).
We tied the knot on June 3, 2001. Since she was in a Masters in Surgery program and in a panic about getting too far behind, I was assigned to plan. “Ok, you do it.” It was great fun to do. With almost no exception, everyone who was invited attended and some who were not invited.

Bob has also written more information about “The Wedding” for his friends and loved ones. The event was June 3, 2001 (photo above is in Paris 7 hours before I proposed). The link to the section about Bob & Maryann’s wedding is https://robertreizner.com/wedding.
This was the first website I made. Thanks to my friend Miracle Bob (not me) it was hosted on a Palestinian server he serviced, though they did not know they were hosting a Jewish wedding site. He gave me the unused URL of www.bigmarketdeli.com (don’t try, deleted decades ago) Enjoy.
