In early December 2021 I flew to New Orleans with my Brother George and his squeeze Agi to attend our cousin’s kid’s wedding. There will be additional content about this wonderful event and the fun in the Big Easy, but for right now I want to share a rather long selfie-video taken at the wedding venue after the ceremony, after the Second Line Parade (great fun) where I felt compelled to join in a rousing chorus of Hava-Nagila. (Reported not to be one of the bride’s favorites, but roundly accepted by the cheering guests all in Black Tie and Gowns.
I was having yet another Sazerac cocktail and was comfortably seated in the outside courtyard by the large fireplace when the music began. As you will see I got drawn in. Note that this starts slowly, but ramps up as I go inside and that the photographers’ flashes can set off an epileptic fit so beware.
