Probably the majority of guests at our Wedding will not have a working knowledge of Hebrew and that is just fine.

    For those of you who are interested, the following may help you appreciate some of the prayers, a few words and the connection.  The service is relatively short compared to a Sabbath or Holiday service, but we will still have a few key moments in Hebrew.  

Names.  Traditionally Jews give their children Hebrew names in addition to their civil names.  The lineage is part of the name in the form of  "Name son or daughter of Parent's names"  More on Names>>
